We need help to achieve this !!!

Denison Ave UCC so very generously allow us to use 3 rooms free of charge, which is beyond such kindness.
Trials for Hope began with a desire to help another, and an awareness of how even the simplest and most basic thing can be taken for granted such as personal care.

Hello, my name is Jonathan. I am the founder of Trials for Hope, and I'd like to welcome you and share the story behind the creation of this program. In 2010 funding was cut at a local community center where I had been volunteering for a time. There were a large amount of trial size personal care toiletries that I was requested to dispose of. After giving some of the items to local detox centers for recovery, a friend and I took the items to a local community meal event. This was an awakening for me when the individuals there showed such gratitude for something that I had taken for granted. I am on disability, and don't have much, but I never realized there were so many who go without basic necessities. Shampoo, tooth paste, toilet paper, and diapers are not covered by food stamps.
Later, I was introduced to the homeless communities through volunteerism with St. Paul's Community Outreach Center. This was when my whole life began to change. I continued to see how small gestures could make a difference for someone. That is when I began to dream of making an impact on a larger scale. Regardless of who you are, your personal issues, or whatever struggles you may have, it’s empowering to know that you can personally make a difference!
The number of people in Cleveland area who need help continue to increase. I intend to work with my Trials For Hope team to tirelessly provide life's necessities, ensuring a basic quality of life. Some members on our team are also on subsidized incomes so this isn't about sympathy....this is about uniting together, helping each other, and utilizing our individual strengths to make a better today.
“Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”
